Run by a local Arabic speaking woman, Afaf Al- Shammari, the group looks at women’s physical, psychological and mental wellbeing. By joining, women will have a break in a welcoming and supportive environment, learn ways to cope with stress, learn the connection between mind and body and its effects on human behavior.

Susan Stewart is a talented artist and a skilled tutor. Learn a variety of techniques including watercolours and drawing. Susan is an experienced teacher who facilitates development of art skills from beginners to more advanced artists. Come along and learn what you want and share with other developing artists! Some materials provided, cost $5 per session.

Pandora’s Box is an Arts and Craft program that allows Women from all cultures to connect with one another. When women share their skills in Arts and Craft and even their life experiences, they unknowingly tear down the unseen barriers of indifferences to find that we all aspire to the same hopes and dreams. Continue to develop your skills with our talented instructor, Anna. Sewing machines and some materials are provided. Anna is an awesome instructor and we doubt there is anything she doesn’t know about sewing. Cost $5 per session.

An afterschool group for children aged 5-13 years. Enjoy art activities and games with other children. Cost $5 per family.
Aboriginal Women's Support Group

A group for Aboriginal women. The Aboriginal Women’s Support Group has a good time painting, talking, laughing, and supporting each other. Guest speakers have visited and shared their knowledge. Activities for the group are developed by the group each term and include discussion topics such as managing stress and the effects of domestic violence.
